My practice is rooted in an ongoing exploration of emotional states, primarily through painting and mixed media, using abstraction as a language to articulate experiences that resist direct narration. Rather than depicting specific events, my work translates internal processes, into layered visual forms.

Each piece develops through cycles of construction, disruption, and reassembly. I build layers intuitively, then partially erase, or obscure them, allowing earlier decisions to remain visible as traces rather than mistakes. This method mirrors psychological and emotional processes, where growth is rarely linear and resolution is often temporary. The surface becomes a site of negotiation between control and surrender.

I am drawn to liminal states, with recurring ideas about certainty and doubt, isolation and connection, fragmentation and cohesion. These in-between moments feel honest and unresolved, and it is within this uncertainty that my work finds its grounding. I am less interested in offering answers, but rather in holding space for the complexity and contradiction of human emotion.

Ultimately, my practice is an inquiry into how emotion and material coexist. I am interested in how art can hold vulnerability without fragility, complexity without explanation, and acceptance without closure. Each work exists as a moment within a larger world, evidence of acceptance rather than arrival.
